Master Koang DeLambe on Baptism

2/August When I was baptized, I did not know on the day, how to prepare myself or what to believe. Indeed it was the evil events of the past years that swirled around me, the miracles I saw and did not understand, and the chance meeting with Christadelphians who took me to the seaside where I was dipped near to a waste water outlet just like the Jordan river in Biblical times. It was not the water that mattered but that Jesus had been calling me to take on a higher role and so...

Master Koang DeLambe on False Teachers

31/July The danger of revealing our troubled future. Would it have been better if Jesus had said nothing of it? No matter how you look at it, people who read the Bible will suffer in the flesh and those who mis-relate it will suffer in the heart.

Master Koang DeLambe on Loving Enemies

28/July To be perfect -is it the aim of all believers or a side dish offering for the Lord? Much of the teaching of religion is towards peace (friendship). And to love one's enemies is the one way to forgiveness. In the end it is the one with the most love who has to apologize to those with less. I sure took my time since the old days of Fellowship Fridays at school. This installment also touches on where love comes from and how some have more of it, if you follow a little closer.

Master Koang DeLambe on the Existence of God

25/July Atheists say there is no God. Practically true. Can anyone prove God -therefore saving mankind, all of us? The message in this weekend's cartoon is a veiled one. That evil got to us long ago, and we can only know, understand, and believe so far, so much. And that is okay with God. Do not doubt yourself or your salvation. When I was young, I didn't understand the nature of the conflict.

Master Koang DeLambe on Love of Money

22/July Many people don't understand money. They shun displays of wealth. Others use wealth for influence. The human heart is the earth's greatest commodity. It leads to other economic standbys and we are paraded an endless string of desirables that we may fall in love with making, saving, and spending our dough. The bunch discuss.

Master Koang DeLambe on Love

18/July Jesus said that LOVE is the greatest commandment. That we love one another. But that most people would lose that feeling at the end times, from the increase in wickedness (evil, immorality). As a child abuse victim, I take pains to hang out with people who really care about one another but rarely do I fit into their frame of emotion, and only sometimes, the kindest people recognize the (little) good left in me. Others saying I am evil.

Master Koang DeLambe on Prophecy

15/July Have you ever felt prophecy in the Bible to be round-about, or phoney? When I was a young Christian, nobody could explain it to me and I lost faith in God's Word -also in much of what it contained about Jesus the Messiah. Fortunately, and it took over half my life to know, Master Koang explains. Search and you shall find.

Master Koang DeLambe on Morality

12/July Morals have a partner -fear, and an unseen barrier, a conscience, which is the Spirit of God. Removing the barrier, without first the sacrifice of the Lamb who is Messiah, would have destroyed God in our eyes, and vice-versa. Many have come to me asking why I don't improve my morality? It is because I place my trust in Christ to live a life he planned for me. 'My peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you -not as the world gives, I give it'.

Master Koang DeLambe on our Fleshy Imperfections

10/July I grew up ugly (as promised, a bit of my life's journey). It wasn't that someone sat on my face, screwing it up, but I was UGLY. Whenever I see other ugly people who weren't fixed, I felt like telling them, being ugly is not something to suffer. Recently, tho, I changed my view, of advising people to present themselves as best they can, but instead by doing the best they can for one another. The beauty is in the Lord's plan for each and every one of us!

Master Koang DeLambe on Faith

7/July Clothes and Faith. What's the deal with it? We've been wearing clothes so long that we forget and are nervous when Jesus mentions the wedding clothes. Prophet Herod, Seeker and Master Koang (missing Spot the dog this week), discuss!
